Not only is the internet a means of accessing and storing extensive amounts of information, but it is also a hub for creativity. The internet plays a role in facilitating communication between people and machines despite potential physical barriers. It can therefore ease the maintenance of important professional and personal relationships. 

People can get lost in social media, reputations and drama, forgetting other parts of the online world. One can think of the internet as an enormous library, publishing centre and message network: but this still does not say all there is to it.
